STEPPING INTO COACHING
A Note from Kristina
They called me a dreamer.
Thank God for that.
At eighteen, I moved from Slovakia to London to study law. I worked three jobs alongside university and honestly did not mind. It has always been my dream to study and live abroad.
Before starting my law degree, i was choosing between law and psychology. I was fascinated by both. I loved topics of justice, philosophy, human behaviour, and the question of why we do what we do. I chose law because I believed in justice, and I still do. But my attention kept drifting to the person behind the problem. Why do we stay in situations that no longer serve us? Why is saying no so difficult? Why can capable, intelligent people achieve a great deal and still wonder whether they are enough?
During university, I worked at a yoga studio, and that is where I truly discovered self-development. No no, I am not only talking about the 5 a.m. alarm clock. It was the first time I realised my inner life deserved as much attention as my ambition. That saying “no” did not make me unkind, and that someone else's disappointment was not my fault and responsibility.
After graduating I completed the Legal Practice Course, then an LL.M., and built a career across law and corporate governance. I worked with senior executives and board members, led international projects, and became part of a professional world I had once only imagined. I loved parts of it, and I remain genuinely proud of what I achieved. It also taught me how easily a life can meet every expectation and still leave something essential unattended. I know, because I spent years staring at my screen, wondering if that was it.
Alongside my career I never stopped studying: human behaviour, relational dynamics, yoga, and female tantra, by which I mean the study of the female body, self-love and self-acceptance. It has taught me that growth does not begin with fixing ourselves and doing more. Sometimes it is about accepting the person we already are. For a lifelong perfectionist who could always find the next thing to improve, that was close to revolutionary. Coaching became my full time job later, however I had already been exploring it for years.
Eventually I had to start living what I had spent years learning. I left a relationship. I stepped away from the career I had worked so hard to build. I moved to Lisbon during the pandemic because I had always wondered what life by the ocean might feel like. I trained as a coach through Mindvalley and I continue my education today at the Advaita School of Ethicotherapy.
B. Boutique is a young chapter. The work behind it is not.
It has been more than twenty years of professional life and over a decade of dedicated inner work, years of study, practice, my own therapy and coaching, and plenty of mistakes. I believe every one of us has a talent. And as someone once told me: if you have a talent, you can be certain there is someone out there waiting to receive it.
This is what coaching is really about for me: that we are allowed to change direction, and that we can do it at any age and at any point in our lives. It does not have to be a dramatic change of behaviour. Sometimes it begins with saying no. With speaking up for yourself in a conversation you would once have stayed quiet. With discovering and admitting, honestly, what you actually want. Those small moments are how a life comes back into alignment with the person living it. And that is the work I do, so that fewer people spend years out of alignment with themselves, at a desk, in a relationship, or in a life that looks right from the outside while they wonder whether this is really it.
I still miss London. I miss Lisbon too. But I am very happy where I am now. Moving forward does not mean what came before was wrong, or that we have to stop loving it. Sometimes something has served us beautifully and we still have to let it end before anything new can begin.
Perhaps that is why I believe that change is possible. I have changed countries, careers, relationships, and many ideas about who I thought I had to be. Knowing yourself means very little if you never let that knowledge change the way you live.
Ten years ago, sitting in a glass office looking out at Tower Bridge, I could not have imagined the life I have today.
But here I am. Still learning, still travelling, still dreaming, and doing work I genuinely love. If I could change my life, perhaps you can change yours too.
Break free.

My Values
-
Coaching helps you reconnect with your authentic self – the version of you that existed before the world told you who to be. You are already enough. You just need space to remember it
-
We’e here for a short, extraordinary time. We came to enjoy it – to feel joy, to connect, to be moved by nature, to use our gifts. Coaching is about clearing the noise so you can actually live that life.
-
There are no bad people – only people carrying wounds they haven’t had the chance to heal. Understanding this can change how we see the world.
-
Just because you made a decision years ago doesn’t mean you have to live by it forever. What you are not changing, you are choosing – every single day. Once you realise that by changing yourself and your perspective, the world changes with you, you appreciate the power you have to be in charge of your life.
-
Every time you step into a new country, you discover a new version of yourself. Moving, adapting, and starting over teaches you a lot about who you are and who you could be.

FAQs
-
Life coaching is a guided process of self-discovery that helps you understand your patterns, rebuild self-esteem, and develop healthy boundaries. Unlike therapy, coaching is forward-focused and practical – you’ll gain clarity on why certain situations keep repeating, and develop the tools to change them. Most clients notice real shifts within the first few sessions.
-
Therapy typically focuses on healing and processing the past. Coaching uses that understanding as a foundation – but the focus is on creating real, tangible change in how you live right now. It’s about building self-worth, learning to set boundaries, and breaking patterns – not just understanding them.
-
That’s exactly who this work is for. Most clients arrive knowing something is off but unable to name it. We don’t need a clear diagnosis to start – just the willingness to look honestly. Together we find the pattern underneath, and once you can see it, you have the power to change it.
-
No. Many people come simply feeling flat, directionless, or like they’ve lost themselves. You don’t need a crisis. You just need the sense that something isn’t quite right – and the readiness to explore it.
